Core storage equipment
In the field of grain storage, silo are the main storage facilities, and their main structures are usually made of galvanized steel plates or concrete. According to actual application requirements, the standard capacity of silos ranges widely, ranging from small silos of 50 tons to large silos of 5,000 tons. Designers usually set the silo diameter between 6–30 meters based on technical parameters and keep the cone bottom angle above 45 degrees to ensure smooth discharge of materials.
Engineers control the wall thickness of the galvanized steel silo at 1.2–3 mm and equip it with a corresponding galvanized protective layer. As intelligent technology develops, engineers generally equip modern silos with electronic material level monitoring systems and temperature and humidity sensors to enable real-time monitoring and precise management of stored materials.

Feeding and discharging system
Feeding end
bucket elevator (processing capacity 20-100t/h), primary cleaning screen (impurity removal efficiency ≥95%), magnetic separation equipment
Discharging end
It is necessary to install a vibrating discharger (with an anti-blocking design), a scraper conveyor (with a wear-resistant chain), and a pneumatic conveying pipeline (suitable for long-distance transportation).
Environmental control system
Circulation fumigation system
phosphine generator + gas circulation device
Mechanical ventilation
axial flow fan (air volume ≥0.5m³/s·t) with temperature-averaging pipe network
Dehumidification unit
It is recommended to maintain relative humidity ≤65%

Detection and automation
Smart warehousing needs to be configured with:
Grain condition monitoring system (temperature probe spacing ≤3m)
Automatic sampling device (1 sampling point for every 100 tons)
PLC control system (including remote monitoring APP interface)
Auxiliary facilities
Dust removal system
pulse bag dust collector (emission concentration ≤20mg/m³)
Measuring equipment
electronic truck scale (accuracy level III)
Fire protection facilities
carbon dioxide automatic fire extinguishing device
