Project Overview

COBAN supplied 3 sets of 500-ton rice silos for a grain storage project in Uganda.

The project was designed to provide a dedicated storage capacity of 1,500 tons for rice, helping the customer handle harvested grain in a more organized and secure way.

The three silos were installed side by side at the customer’s site. The project included the delivery of the silo structures and related components, followed by on-site installation and technical support.

On-Site Installation

The installation was carried out directly at the customer’s site in Uganda.

As shown in the project photos, the silo bodies were assembled and lifted into position using site lifting equipment. The installation team worked around the silo support structures and completed the assembly of the storage units step by step.

For projects of this size, proper alignment of the silo body, support structure and connecting components is important before the silo is put into operation. COBAN provides installation guidance and technical support during this stage to help the local team complete the work correctly.
