This project showcases a complete grain silo storage system designed and installed by COBAN engineering team. It demonstrates our capability in delivering safe, efficient, and durable grain storage solutions for global agricultural projects.

Key engineering parameters & system configuration
This grain storage project was completed in Uganda for a total storage capacity of 3,000 tons. The project includes 2 steel grain storage silos, each with a capacity of 1,500 tons, providing a practical solution for storing harvested grain in bulk.
For a project of this size, stable storage conditions are important to reduce grain losses and maintain grain quality after harvesting. The silo system provides enclosed storage while allowing the grain to be managed through loading, aeration, monitoring, and controlled discharge.

COBAN supplied the 2 × 1,500-ton steel grain storage silos for the project. The silos are designed for bulk grain storage and can be integrated with grain conveying, aeration, temperature monitoring, and unloading equipment according to the customer’s actual handling requirements.
The two-silo arrangement also gives the operator more flexibility when handling different grain batches or managing storage separately.
From silo design and equipment supply to installation support, COBAN provides technical assistance throughout the project. Our engineers can provide installation drawings, equipment guidance, commissioning support, and operation training to help the customer put the grain storage system into service smoothly.
With experience in grain storage projects in Africa, COBAN focuses on practical silo solutions based on storage capacity, grain type, site conditions, and the customer’s handling requirements.
